Hailing from france, Extra Dry & Tom Cohen are known for their raw and dark productions, and appear on Drowne Records for the first time! The 'Haze EP' shows up with two huge originals being placed alongside remixes from Ricardo Garduno and Simo Lorenz.

Opener 'Delta' feels pretty dark and takes off with a grumbling bassline. Vocalsnippets are flashing through the fog of darkness, while gritty distortions add an organic quality to the track. Droning atmospheres run relentlessly throughout the track and two-note synthstabs reinforce the functional structure.

Follow-up and title track 'Haze' shows up with an accentuated bassline and various eroded and echoed elements. Snappy offbeat hi-hats and shuffling low-frequency percussions have a large share to the groove, which opens up in the break and clears the way for massive industrial damage before 'Mass Effect' slips into a huge drop!

The first remixer is no stranger to the global techno underworld - Ricardo Garduno from Mexico is well known for his perfect blend of organic and distorted-twisted techno. Ricardo put hands on 'Delta' and created a huge tune! Taking off with a mighty, bulbous bassdrum the track evolves quickly and delights it’s listener with propelling hi-hat structures, cavernous atmospherics, and distorted elements. A blend of gritty noises and tonal backbeat percussions create a unique groove, and well-placed rides put the right energy into this banger!

Last, but not least Simo Lorenz from germany reinterpreted 'Delta' into a detailed and intense technoroller which takes it's time and bristles with energy! Backed up by a sirenesque background synth, snappy hihats, and swirling ride structures this stomper picks you up, and holds you tight!

In conclusion this release covers varying moods, reaching from gloomy atmospheres and industrial influences over to hypnotic and distorted grooves, and offers a total package of advanched underground techno music.
